Announcing my new business: Zoom Background Images
While in quarantine I noticed so many people starting to use the Zoom platform to connect…with their colleagues for work, with friends and family, school classmates and teachers, teams, community groups…it feels like every demographic is turning to video conferencing to connect during the Covid19 pandemic.
As many of you know, I’ve been creating digital backgrounds for photographers for some time now so I thought “why not create digital backgrounds specifically sized and formatted for the Zoom platform?”
Why use a virtual background during a Zoom meeting?
Using the virtual background feature allows users to maintain a professional look and stay true to their brand image while maintaining privacy.
We’ve all seen those viral posts of Zoom meetings being photo bombed or inappropriate things happening to unsuspecting users during a Zoom meeting. Let’s face it…my living room isn’t always clean and presentable and I admit…sometimes I even do work in bed. I love the idea of using a virtual background so that I can participate in video chats and control what viewers see behind me.
Using a virtual background can help keep private areas private, maintain your brand image or just be fun for more casual video conferencing with friends and family.
