Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a stop to chat with patrons enjoying breakfast at Rhino’s Roadhouse in Bewdley this morning. MP Kim Rudd was also in attendance visiting with community members of the Northumberland-Peterborough South she represents.
It was a great honor to be in attendance and try to capture as many moments as I could as my fellow community members shook hands, chatted and interacted with Mr. Trudeau. Trudeau was himself very sincere and took his time to listen to the questions and concerns from each person he met – never rushing, always with a smile on his face and at ease as he faced an array of topics presented to him. His interactions with the children were especially heartwarming. As he was leaving we had a few moments to converse before he exited to greet the crowds waiting outside, and of course I had to grab a quick headshot before he set out to continue his tour of small towns across Canada.
I must take a moment to recognize all of the hard working and dedicated staff at Rhino’s who supported this event. They graciously assisted and served patrons throughout the morning with the utmost professionalism and wonderful service and smiles that we have grown to enjoy whenever dining at this establishment.
