It is always a pleasure volunteering to capture images at the Vandermeer Toyota Father Daughter Ball. This community event raises funds to support the Northumberland Hills Hospital. It was heartwarming to see local businesses and citizens come together to support the event and a privilege to work with such a caring and dedicated group. Local photographers such as myself and Snapped Northumberland West caught all of the action as it unfolded. The Cobourg Lions Community Hall was exquisitely decorated to set the scene for the Alice in Wonderland theme. After a scrumptious dinner the guests played in the miniature Wonderland room, participated in the fun photo booth by Star Struck Photobooth sponsored by Holly Woods Studio and magical dress up boutique, were entertained by the dancers from Jennifers Jazz It Up Studio of Dance, and of course danced with their adoring fathers, grandfathers and chaperones until they just couldn’t keep their eyes open any longer! To see the wonder and joy in the little guests eyes as the night unfolded was truly a blessing, and they made so many memories with their noble chaperones. It was a fairytale dream come true that they will remember for years to come. Well done to the hosts, organizers, supporters and all community members who lent a hand and an open heart to make this enchanted evening happen!
