Photography is an art of observation.
It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them. ~ Elliot Erwitt
As a photographer it is essential to connect with the subject, but most importantly to be able to look at an ordinary, everyday location and see the potential and beauty in it. Below you will see the background shot taken by a client during a photo session I recently had at the local beach, and my final edit of the shot to show where and what I was working with and then my vision coming together for print.
Its important to look all around you with an open eye and mind…if you slow down, and take in everything around you there is so much beauty to be seen…the more you slow down, and look around the more you will see and actually notice. Then you can begin to embrace and enjoy every little gift this wonderful world around us has to give.
